Implanted Fears

MOVIE World's latest thrillseeker ride, Lethal Weapon (pictured), produces some unusual effects on the suspended bodies it carries through its high speed loops and spirals.
But a young woman at the Gold Coast theme park was taking no chances when she asked the attendants not to fasten her restraint too tightly.
As the brace was lowered over her shoulders, the woman said she wanted it loose fitting because she had just undergone breast implant surgery and feared the four-times gravity forces would have more than her eyes popping out.
"She survived intact," Movie World spokeswoman Kathyrn Rose said.
"Although recently we found a bikini top underneath the ride- and no-one came to claim it."
